Culottes and cropped jeans are my absolute favorite to wear during Spring. I love them so much that I hate to just let them just gather dust on my shelves in the Winter, so I found a way to incorporate them in to my Winter looks. I don’t think they look that great with booties, but when I tried them with a tall boot it was a game changer!

Sometimes I find an item while shopping and I can close my eyes and see all the items I would wear it with. That's exactly what happened when I saw this beautiful suede skirt. I first thought I could go for for the monochromatic look with a wine on wine color scheme pairing a chunky knit sweater, fun booties & of course this statement skirt.
Can we talk about how fringe came back in a bold way this year? From sweaters, to bags, jackets, earrings and shoes. It's back with vengeance & I'm the first to hop on that trend train.
Whoever said "You can't wear white after labor day" has definitely never read an issue of Vogue magazine in December. Winter Whites have been "in" for a while and I don't see them going anywhere any time soon. There is something about a combo of whites that makes an outfit look super chic.
When heading to the Ferry Building Farmers Market I paired my most comfy mom jeans with a chunky knit sweater & some sneaks. There's nothing I love more than looking stylish, but also being super comfortable. This look is easy to replicate with stuff you already have in your closet. Why not step out of the box and switch things up a bit?
I found girlfriend collective recently while scrolling on instagram. I knew I needed to try their line, when I saw their amazing Poloma sports bra, modeled on curvy girls. Finding a comfortable, cute & supportive bra is tough for me as I'm quite busty. When I got it in the mail & saw the fit, I fell in love with the line.
Some holiday parties you have to pull out all the stops. Dresses, high heels and all the va-va-voom you can bring. However, there are SO many parties to attend & not all of them are places you need to be super dressy. For those nice dinners, company happy hours or holidays show you can totally wear something like a sweater and fun pants.
Holiday parties are so fun to dress up for. I just love getting all dolled up, slipping on a fun outfit and dancing the night away. I have been trying to be better about not shopping too much (trying is the key word) and I have been putting myself on a budget.
This dress may have actually whispered "buy me" when I walked by it in the store. Maybe I'm crazy, but this bad boy needed me and I needed it. Isn't this the most perfect taupe beige and the most fun cut? It's by far my favorite Fall item i've purchased this year.
What you really need in your life this year are the perfect basics. Yes, keepin' it simple. To be honest, most of my closet is filled with basics that I love & from there I just layer fun things with it. My must-haves for this season are high waist light wash ripped jeans, black booties and a black turtle neck.
Do you recognize this jumpsuit? Well, it's likely because you've seen me wear it a ton throughout the Summer. I wore it out to dinner on vacation, to a friends wedding and to a birthday party. When I buy something nice, I want to make sure I can get my use out of it. I paired what was marketed as a summer jumpsuit, with a turtle neck and immediately got a whole new outfit from this piece.
You guys know I'm obsessed with jumpsuits, but did you know I also have a real obsession for culottes as well? There's nothing more amazing than being able to dress up and still be comfortable. Sorry, but I can't lie to you all. I can't last a night in stilettos or a bandage dress. It's just not my jam. I want to feel confident, comfortable & still super stylish when I go out. These culottes are one of my holiday staples.
Thanksgiving is just a few days away you guys. I have a Friendsgiving to head to and a big family Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house this week. One of my favorite things about the holidays is the fashion. On my moms side of the family, the ladies are SO fashionable. Last year my aunt walked in the door with a silk jumpsuit and a faux-fur coat. My other aunt is a huge thrifter, so she always shows off her designer steals styled from head-to-toe. My cousin Caity is also super fashion-forward and always has a new knit sweater, leather legging or bag to show off.
I am newly obsessed with Boba, specifically Boba Guys in SF. My friend Tamryn (@wannabefashionblogger) blogs about them all the time and raves about how amazing and delicious it is. I had to try it for myself & when I tried her signature drink, I was like... ok I get it. She gets the Iced Matcha Latte (with OatMylk, boba, and no sweetener) & this stuff is crack. I swear you'll have to try it for yourself, it's that good!
There's nothing like the weather getting cooler & a little crisp, prepping for all the fun holiday events coming your way & finishing up your final deadlines at work. Isn't there just really something special about knowing that in just a few days you'll get the chance to spend some quality time to celebrate and relax with friends and family? Today I woke up, got a coffee (and a waffle) & took some time to plan out my holiYAYs.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, can you believe it's just 10 days away? What better way to dress for the holiday than in something Fall-ish & comfortable. Jumpsuits have been my go-to holiday outfit choice for a few years now for a few major reasons. Jumpsuits are usually very breathable (eat the cake & say no to corsets). I love that there are so many styles out now that you can find that flatter YOUR body. I also just love that they are an entire outfit in one (no need to buy separates).
Last year, my Grandma came up to me on Christmas and asked an important question. She wondered, "Your aunt let me know turtlenecks are not in style. Should I toss all of them?". I let her know, like any style, it's likely they will be "in" again soon. BOOM, fast forward to this year they are back in full swing. I think the last 3 things i've purchased are mock neck or a full turtle neck.
Happy Wine Wednesday y'all. I hope you can grab a bottle of wine to help you get over the hump-day blues. I have a bottle chilling in my fridge right now and I can't wait to pop it open tonight. If you follow me on social media you know I drink Winc wine all the time. Today, I wanted to share with you why I love them so much.
I found saw blonde hoodie by Brunette The Label and had to have it. There's nothing like having the perfect cropped hoodie in your closet. You can wear it with workout clothes to the gym, around town running errands or to work on a casual day. This hoodie is the softest thing & I swear every time I wear it, someone stops me asking me where I got it.
I've decided I'm going to really try my best to not try and "keep up with the Jones' " and start being smarter with my purchases. This starts with re-wearing clothes you've all seen me wear & just start to style them differently. We would be silly to not wear clothes a second time around if we love them. Who cares if someone photographed you wearing it online already.
Fall is here! As I mentioned in my last post, all my sweaters have come out of hiding. The weird thing is, San Francisco has been super warm lately. I have been able to leave the house all week without a jacket, which to me, is rare! I bought this amazing shift dress the other week planning on wearing it with boots for Fall. I decided I couldn't wait until it gets cold, so I styled it with sandals and a hat to draw out summer as long as I can.
