Ladies, can we have a moment of silence for all the clothes we bought and ended up wearing only once or twice? How sad. These poor items we thought we needed, but were an impulse purchase and now are with our cousins or by now their friends. I have been thinking a lot about how social media truly makes us feel like we need more, more, more! We need what that girl has on instagram, that dress that girl wore to a wedding you saw on Facebook, we for sure need those sunnies we saw on snapchat, the list goes on and on.
I've decided I'm going to really try my best to not try and "keep up with the Jones' " and start being smarter with my purchases. This starts with re-wearing clothes you've all seen me wear & just start to style them differently. We would be silly to not wear clothes a second time around if we love them. Who cares if someone photographed you wearing it online already.
It isn't cool to go in to debt spending money on clothes we will forget about in a year. I don't think it's cool to always buy what's trending. Obviously, get ideas from the people whose style you love, but be sure to make it your own on your own budget.
I tend to spend money on the big pieces that I value. This included by nice leather jacket, by expensive black boots and one nice purse. Buy your nice staple pieces and then get some not so expensive accessories to tszuj up your wardrobe.
Here's me in an outfit i've for sure worn a ton, but just styled differently with some fun sunnies, a bright bag & some statement earrings.
