Whenever I read a 7x7 article of a new restaurant opening up in San Francisco, nine times out of ten I want to try it. I literally have a list of restaurants I want to try in this awesome city, but since new ones pop up so frequently it is hard to tackle them all. This week, I checked another off my list. I stopped by the new Cuban Restaurant called Media Noche in the Mission. Walking in, my mouth dropped because the design by Hannah Collins was so cute. The floors have such cool tile, the walls have really cute decorative hangings, the bathroom has banana wall paper (arguably the best part), and the outside is painted to pastel perfection.
This place is the kind of spot where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. It's quick and the price point is very affordable for this city. They are mostly known for their cubano sandwiches, tasty sangria and their cafe con leche ice cream bars (be sure you save room)! I really enjoyed trying a new spot that is unlike most restaurants in this city since there isn't a ton of cuban food in SF.
Don't forget to bring your camera (or camera phone), because this place is somewhere where every corner you turn you'll want to snap a shot. Check out the awesome flamingo street art right outside the restaurant by fnnch.
