I have green smoothies most days. I never get tired of making new combinations of greens and my favorite fruits. I just grabbed some groceries and was super excited to see organic frozen figs at Trader Joes. I was nervous to see how they would taste in my smoothie, but this recipe is seriously bomb and I couldn't wait to share it!
Ingredients:
1 scoop Protein Powder
2 cups Kale or Spinach
1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk ( I like Calafia)
2-3 Frozen Organic Figs
Optional toppings: Organic Conconut Flakes, Flaxseed, fresh fruit
Ice
Directions:
1. Throw everything in to your blender & blend until smooth
2. Pour in to a cup
3. Top with your favorite toppings- I used flaxseed, coconut, and fresh fruit.
