Getting Ready for the HoliYAYs with Old Navy
There's nothing like the weather getting cooler & a little crisp, prepping for all the fun holiday events coming your way & finishing up your final deadlines at work. Isn't there just really something special about knowing that in just a few days you'll get the chance to spend some quality time to celebrate and relax with friends and family? Today I woke up, got a coffee (and a waffle) & took some time to plan out my holiYAYs.
This year, my family is on a budget. We're old enough that my parents suggested we downsize our gift giving and do some more fun family stuff together. It made me think, I really had become attached to the gift giving piece of the holidays and think maybe it can distract us from what the holidays are really about, spending time with your loved ones.
Old Navy has all of my "must have" items for Fall and Winter, so with the theme of saving money I couldn't find a better place to go. Get the holiday looks I want that are actually affordable, why not? I found this amazing stripes turtle neck that is seriously so flattering I may have to get another color. These jeans are now my go-to and I've told my friends they are a must have. I love that they are stretchy, thick & high waisted. Pair them with the perfect black bootie and you'll look super chic. Next up was this amazing sherpa jacket. I mean, if I could walk around basically with a blanket on & it be socially acceptable... I'm in! Finally, before I checked out I had to grab this bold scarf while I was at it to add a pop of color!
